Yoyo with a broken string
In Uncategorized on April 7, 2008 at 8:39 pmMy normal normal blog is up and down like a yoyo with a broken string, so it’s time to move over here for a while. Phew. It’s been a while, hasn’t it?
Anyhow.
For some reason, the Opera browser really doesn’t like WordPress’ edit box, adding spurious newlines into the text whether we’re in Visual or HTML mode, and I’m in no mood to “need” to install Firefox or trust my words to the Security Black Hole known as IE. I had planned to switch to a different, more bloggy theme, but until I can fix the editbox problem it’ll have to stay with the Prologue theme for now. That puts a (working) edit box at the top of the page, all Twitter-like. Which is nice.
Unlike my unworking blog, I’ll keep this pretty much text only. That’s frustrating, as I’ve a backlog of renders piling up, but it’ll save the hassle of hunting down Yet Another Image Hosting Site. Mind you, wordpress.com does come with some storage. We’ll see………..

Sign the DRM pledge!

So says Elizabeth Stark and Fred Benenson of Freeculture.org. They have created a pledge and enourage 500 people to sign it and assert their opposition to DRM-crippled CDs. They asked for 500 signatures and have 552 already, so have decided to keep it open for people to voice their opinions as well.
